Following Cyclone Gabrielle, the Cancer Society of New Zealand extends aroha to all those affected as they continue to deal with the impacts of this extreme weather event.

To those people we have a treasured relationship with – our donors, event participants, patients and volunteers - we send special thoughts to you.

We are especially concerned for those with cancer and their whānau that have been impacted.

All Cancer Society services are running, so please do not hesitate to reach out to us for support.

Also, if you are unsure if your treatment is going ahead as scheduled due to the weather impacts, contact your cancer doctor or the hospital where you receive treatment.

Having treatment postponed may be stressful. However, your cancer doctor will ensure your treatment is rescheduled to the earliest possible time.
